This children's book is an adorable story of a baby dragon left on a human couple's doorstep. Raised as a little boy, Ralph doesn't know he's a dragon until he meets other children. Befriended by a little girl, Alexis, they discover acceptance and learn to celebrate their differences, and how much they have in common. Written in language for young children,
Ralph has a tongue-in-cheek humor that will get a few chuckles from the adult reading the story.
Author Bernard Kowlaski has also written a sequel to this charming tale, 'Ralph the Dragon Learns to Fly and Meets the Blue Butterfly' Bernard Kowlaski and illustrator Dawn Phillips' site is:  http://www.rdchildrensbooks.com/

Our second story is 'Something Greater Than Fear' by author Christy Condoleo and illustrator Chris Goguen.
Trapped!  Figs is a prisoner in her own home by a mysterious smell that won't go away!  She is all out of food and has no choice but to leave the safety of her little tree hollow.  Yet what she discovers outside her tiny door is something far greater than fear.
Christy Condoleo is an author of seven books.  'Something Greater Than Fear' is an extension of 'Gasgeil's Bravery', which was her first book and it also won two Silver Quill awards from the American Author's Association.  You may find out more about her and her books at www.eppyscreations.com.  The illustrator of 'Something Greater Than Fear', Chris Goguen, may be found here, www.chrisgoguen.com .
